The name GeoSynoptics reflects our company's expertise in solving real world geophysical and earth observation problems through the use of an array of tools best suited to the need of the problem.
Geo- is taken from the Greek
word "

" meaning "earth", usually in the sense of "ground" or "land"
Synoptic(s) is derived from the Greek words
"
" (syn = together) and "
" (opsis = seeing), and describes
observations
that give a broad view of a subject at a particular time.
Mission
Facilitate cost savings to clients by providing well interpreted subsurface information through the use of near surface geophysics

All GeoSynoptics field and office workers are insured to work in Ontario under the Workplace Safety Insurance Board.

GeoSynoptics base of operations is located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. In this location we are ideally suited to acquire accurate, high quality data in Eastern Canada and the United States. We pride ourselves on our ability to give rapid turnaround times so that you, the client, can get the answers you're looking for quickly.
